September 15, 2026
Ariell Johnson created Amalgam Comics to bring diverse stories and readers together.
Meet Ariell Johnson.
She built a comic shop with purpose.
You know the famous heroes.
Now look beyond the usual shelves.
Storm changed something for her.
Representation became personal.
A childhood connection stayed with her.
It shaped a bigger dream.
Amalgam Comics and Coffeehouse opened.
The welcome was the point.
Diverse stories took center stage.
Creators found real shelf space.
Independent voices needed a chance.
Amalgam made room for them.
Fans found more than comics.
They found community.
One vision became a gathering place.
Readers finally felt seen.
The message reaches beyond comics.
You can build what is missing.
